BEFORE:

SOOC, oddly lit, snapped in a hurry while Nicole was flitting around trying to explain something to Chris. The only reason she stayed still long enough for this is because I asked her if there was a bug on my arm. And then she was like, “what? Oh… right there?” and then I panicked and thought maybe there was a bug on me and Chris nearly died laughing. The end.

AFTER:

Not my usual style, but it is really fun (albiet kind of time consuming) to do the boutique-y shots from time to time.

One thing I do like about the boutique-y look is that is takes her hair from ‘frizzy sticks out weird’ to ‘indie hippy boho child’. My brother told me the other day that Nicole, who dresses herself more often than not and has an interesting sense of style some days, is a hipster.
