Christmas Cards from Cardstore.com #sponsored #mc #TopoftheMantel

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Cardstore. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. http://www.momcentralconsulting.com

No matter how ahead of the game I try to be on Christmas cards, I always fall short. Generally it’s right at the finish line… at the church I attend, and it’s ‘sister churches’, there are mail slots for all the members to get various church related things and you’re also allowed to put in cards and the like for other members. So, the local cards tend to get out to family and friends, since many can be distributed this way or in person.

But then the mail. Oh, the mailing.

I’ve even tried getting my mom to address the cards for me, and they still didn’t get stamped and in the mailbox. It’s my downfall. And mom, if you’re reading this, cringe. Sorry I got you to do that for nothing! I had great intentions! I have the cutest kids in the world, I reckon, and I feel so sad that there are so many fridges and mantles out there that could be sporting their sweet faces in Christmas Card form.

Jackson announcement

Also failing at: Jackson’s birth announcement, which never even made it to print.

But this year, THIS YEAR will be my year to SHINE! This year my cards will not only make it out into the wide, wide world, but they will make it to the very top of the mantle! They’ll get the best magnet on the fridge! The very center of the card garland! Fireworks and glitter!!

Don’t smirk. I know the track record I’ve just confessed to. But this year WILL be different…

Because THIS YEAR… this year I’m using Cardstore.com. How will that make a difference, you ask? Because once you make your personalized holiday card on their website, they do the rest. Yes, that includes printing, addressing, and mailing them out for you. Cue the choir! My 200 + cousins may get cards this year! Just kidding, I don’t have 200+ cousins, unless you count my husband’s side of the family too, and either way, they’re not all getting cards. Ain’t nobody got time for that. (Long and complicated story about the huuuuuge extended family, which also ain’t nobody got time for.)

Cardstore not only mails those cards out for me, but the cards are beautiful enough to hold their own with my beautiful babies sweet faces. No choosing the same Costco card layout as 3 of my other friends this year, compadres. No, we’re going for the top of the mantle, remember? We’re going for the fireworks and glitter. But not real glitter, because that stuff gets everywhere.

You still have a few hours left to take advantage of their Cyber Monday sale for $.99 flat cards, so log on and make your holiday card today at http://po.st/PersonalizeYourCard

Do you have any torrid tales of Christmas card woes? Please share below, maybe you can make me feel a bit better about my wretched history!
