Sa-WWEEET!

This is the second time in two months I have won a blog draw! First I one an Amy Butler Solids pack from Sew, Mama, Sew! on one of thier Freebie Friday giveaways (considering I always forget to enter, that's amazing that I won that one, lol)

Now I just one the Indie Fixx Autumn Cornucopia Giveaway Prize #1! How sweet is that! What a big, awesome prize pack. I'll be sure you let you know what I think of all the Awesome Stuff when I get it, for sure! I'm so exciiiiittteeedd to get that stuff.

I'm also excited to start on some more refashioning... in a biggish town about 45 minutes from where I live, there is an MCC thrift store that has a bag sale all the time... a bag of clothes for $5, as much as you can stuff in the (big paper Sobey's) bag. (or rather, they do the stuffing, but they aren't stingy, in fact sometimes overly generous lol) Well, I found four pairs of cream coloured cargo pants for DH (he loves cream coloured cargo pants. Beyond anything else in the world. I think he loves proving how very clean he is when he isn't all dirty from work). Two big fat wide belts for $1 for both. a wool/merino soft fluffy yellow Liz Claiborne sweater to refashion into a sweaterdress for DD (so excited for that one.) and some other shirts to refashion into leggings and a tshirt dress for DD.

Holla at the Mennonites, they have the best thrift stores EVER! (Did I mention the Bumbo chair + tray for $6?! in mint condition! I don't need one, not at all. But i could not leave it behind)

Excuse the crappy photo and end-of-the-day no-lipstick face, I do in fact have a pulse... but anyways. Look at me, I'm such a Dollar-wise Diva! The pants were like $30 at Winners... The shirt is 100% silk and found it at a thrift store and paid like $4 for it, the belt was one of the 50cent belts I mentioned... the earrings and cameo necklace are costume jewelry I got on clearance for $1 a piece.
